Evening at the Pyrmids

Hello everyone!

My name is Kathy and I LOVE reading and writing Poetry.

No, I've never been to spain (or Egypt)..still...

I can't think of a better way to start then by posting this one that I wrote last year:

"EVENING AT THE PYRMIDS"


Far below the dog star's slumber,
far below the crab;
fell among the chrome cast shadows,
fell and lodged against night's brow.

Dripping
down that seamless stairway;
dripping
down upon the slabs
of sided pillows, dusted even
are the frozen castle trowels.
