I sent this out recently to The St. Anne's Reviw and another journal for first-time poets called "Coast" that occasionally publishes little pieces like this one. Hey, thanks Rach! --- Genoveva inspired me to send it to some mothering journals, and I sent it to a journal I subscribe to called Poetry. Hey, we have to try, right? Getting a poem published is like the lottery - for newbies like me, anyway! All for under a couple bucks for postage!
