Hiya i was just wondering if anyone could help me find out the name of this book.
My dad was in the army on a coach on his way to camp and he found this book stuck down the arm of the chair and he read it solid for hours, but when he was getting off the coach he must of left it so he never had chance to finish it.
This was a fair few years ago but the book could of been old when he read it.
The story is similar to that of 'stepmom' with julia roberts but with a few exceptions. Its about a divorced couple, he lives in NY (i think) in lush apartment, and she lives somwhere else and raises the two children:1 boy 1girl. She then becomes ill and dies (i think of cancere) and the children have to move annd live with him. He then gets a new girlfriend and they all have to adjust.
Thats as far as he got to read but its the one book that he's read that made him cry in places and he would really love to finish it.
If i could find out the name of this book it would mean so much.
Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks
Charlotte
