funny....
Weeping willow - i see him as a lonely tree dying in the middle of the desert, as the sand cover his dead brances that left broken on the ground...
I see him as a tree worth saving from his wilderness, and placing safe into eternal Paradise.

Robin - above all, a good friend of mine... somewhere (since he won't disclose his location ;) ).
Not even to you?
Is it China?

Could it be? I wonder...

Oh, I know where he lives, I asked to come and visit once and he graciously allowed me to. I got to sleep on his very bed, he took the couch. He is the kindest bestest host in the whole galaxy.

Irish Canadian is a drama 'king', depicting the world surrounding him with such vivid words that one cannot but feel unique to have the slightest chance of watching him as he plays many parts, unaware of the beauty of his bare soul.

AWW thank you so much! Thats so sweet of you!

Ah, ja! Ve haff vays to make you talk, eh? My grandfather's last name was Wymer which I'm told has Germatic roots, though the family claims Irish descent. I'm a Harris, which is as about as Middle English as you can get. My frist name comes from Middle English and means "dweller in the valley". My middle name comes from the same source and means "Waterfall" or "Liden tree". Both names could be either male or female. I am male. I dislike my names. Most people outside family who know me here at home call me "Blade", one of my pseudonyms. :p

I'm not too enthusiastic about my first name either, but nobody ever calls me any nicks, except my dad and bro. they call me Mimmi but that's a bit childish.. some ppl call me Miri but i don't like it...
well, my best friend calls me "Beuteltier" (marsupial, "bag animal" cf weird translations game :)), though, because i tend to carry lots of bags with me... she often shortens it to "Beutel" (bag) or changes it to things like "Fressbeutel" (gobble-bag, when i eat too much) or "Saufbeutel" (Booze-bag) depending on the situation... or when i drink tea it's "Teebeutel" (tea bag)  her nicks for me can be really hilarious. e.g. once we had a cocktail called Flying Kangaroo; a kangaroo is a marsupial (Beuteltier), i.e. me, so she called me Flying Boozebag
hehe, this should go in the names thread maybe :)

I see Sleepy Witch as a kid that sleeps in until her favorite cartoon, Sabrina, comes on. She loves the circus of the stars, but has greater enthusiasm for the holiday for her new religion, called November and December Fest. She dreams in water colors and likes to make paper doll cutouts. Brewing watermelon wine is her favorite passing of time. She likes the claymation version of Wind in the Willows better than the cartoons, and helped build the set for the LOTR movies.

Have I got it right, or waht?

hehe, not quite :) but it's a fun description :) Sabrina the teenage *itch, er witch??? oops, nope that's not a cartoon
hehe, sorry to disappoint you but i've never done any girlish things like making paper doll cutouts.. well, I made a couple of teddy bears when i was a teenager...
:)

I can see it all clearly now:
Sleepy Witch makes paper cut-out teddy bears, is working on a non-girly Sabrina project, and knows I obviously have never spied on her activities.

when i think Sleepywitch.. i picture a witch falling asleep off her flying broomstick...

Mililalil XXIV
06-02-2006, 02:53 AM
I think of a janitor's apprentice who is too heavy eyed and dreamy to push her broom, and forgetful of all magic.

smilingtearz
06-02-2006, 02:56 AM
.. that sounds cute..

When i think of little shini.. i think of her avtar.. with her hair hiding under her turban and she's forever blinking with a blank expression on her face...

Mililalil XXIV
06-02-2006, 03:02 AM
I see Shini as a lifesized diamond on a golden ring - a lifesized one on a lifesized finger. I barely see her little fingers sparkling in the cuts of the precious stone.

smilingtearz

hmm.. she suddenly seems trapped in a diamond...

Mililalil XXIV

And the diamond ring - I believe - is in a jewellry box, closed up inside of gift wrappings until Christmas 2034.

oh don't do that ... she's to sweet to be locked up so..

To a girl so petite and young, that's an expansive world!

smilingtearz
06-02-2006, 03:20 AM
but she'll grow.. and unless she ses the world while she's growing, she won't understand that it's a cruel world out there...

I ain't exposing her to the feared codswallop until she has the strength of diamond adamantium.

If she were my sister i'd let her learn and experience..and let her face the world... though i'd keep warning her about things to follow..and be there for her whenever she'd need me..

are we hijacking this thread?

smilingtearz
06-02-2006, 03:52 AM
 ... but it's a real tragedy.. falling off bikes i mean

I once spun around in wide circles on the street with my eyes closed, in elementary school. A girl ran into me with her bike and angrily got up and started to chase me. I felt bad, as I avoided her violence, for her cuts and scrapes and tears and indignancy.

REVIVED ~ as promised for lit-net's own personal superhero.

Robin Hood ~ Mighty brained and mysterious, imagination en-wrought with intellect, driven to expound and convinced that his way is right, but polite about it, more of a teacher than unbending pusher of his ways. a little scary to think where this guy will end up... perhaps a great writer or a idealistic fanatic. I imagine him as a little geeky, but not so geeky that no one notices his good looks too, looks that with maturity will evolve into distinction. His geekiness just adds a layer of sophistication to him, the kind of geekiness that is attractive to girls bright enough to fall in love with his mind, and who then becomes irresistibly beautiful to them, plus he knows the secret of whispering in soft spanish....

My first time...

The way Reisa puts a spin to things regarding music makes anyone listen to those new-to-my-ears songs, along with The Barefoot Goddess. She also is a great poet and a good example of a Haiku'er who's one with the likes of Janine and Uncle Virg and makes it worthwhile to post in the Haiku thread!

Overall, she's a caring person (I can see that), a wide-horizoned music appreciator and a brilliant poet.

Basil
We think he is like an Elder God of Lovecraft creation - you know, the ones that look like you really stoned yourself and then started drawing a hippie cartoon.
All right, they all look so. But during the time we have spent here we have reached the conclusion that he lacks a constant normal/logical shape and form and is probably therefore a Lovecraftian god.

Iä! Iä! Iä! (couldn't remember the phrase that comes after those "Iä"s)
