::::: feedback would be appreciated :) thnx.

Saddened by the loss of a dear friend
who you know is never to return to you again.
Grieving his mistakes
which you know will hurt him someday.

I wish he would listen to me,
I wish I could make him see,
that girl is no good for him;
she will hurt him, you’ll soon see.

I would want to be there when it happens,
to comfort him and be his friend
but no longer is he my friend,
for that, he has chosen to end.

She has come between him and me.
I would never forgive her for that.

To destroy a friendship is an unforgivable sin,
And in the end, she has proven to win.

I feel the same way (See "I reach out"). All I can tell you is to let go of it all. It's the only way to remain sane in these circumstances.

This is a very, very nice poem.

I am completely with Countess; however, though it might not really help you, I can tell you that you DO know why you were left alone: due to another woman. I once was left for ... I don't know ... I don't know for what reason this friendship ended, and that's even worse. I wish it had been a woman.

I remember, long ago, when my father died, a friend of my mother's told her: "You know where your husband is now. I am divorced and I don't know where mine is. You're in a way lucky."

Uncertainty is something very cruel and sometimes it can hurt much more than being sure of something.

However, I am totally with your second last line: To destroy a friendship is an unforgivable sin ... and I do understand your grief.
