So? do you have Paraskevidekatriaphobia: Fear of Friday the 13th? :D
Are you going to hide in your house all day or buy lottery tickets because it's Friday the 13th?
Are you superstitious of black cats and walking under ladders?
Is 13 a "good" number for you or "bad"?
An interesting article at Snopes.com (www.snopes.com/luck/friday13.asp)

Pfffft
I'm going to an English lecture that is jam packed with pretty girls, then i'm eating some food and going to a play rehersal on campus. Nothing different about 13.
But that is a pretty fantastic word for the fear of tomarrow (today being thursday the 12th).

I'm actually quite fond of the number 13 (after all, it is at the age of thirteen that we first become teenagers ;)), and as for Friday, it's one of my favourite days of the week (I say 'one' for I have many :p). Connect them together, and you get Friday the 13th.
Especially if one has one's first violin lesson in the year on such a day, shouldn't it be a chance to celebrate...?

And as to black cats, they're beautiful. I had a black(-and-white) cat once, a very regal, sleek-furred creature. If a black cat crossed my path (mind you one has) I'd take it as a sign of good fortune.

Our founding fathers had no fear of the number 13. In the Great Seal of The United States, it is the main theme. The eagle has 13 feathers in each wing, holds 13 arrows, the sheild has 13 stripes, the mottos have 13 letters each, 13 leaves on the olive branch, etc. And as for Friday, why should we be unlucky once a week, every week? We have a (mostly) black cat and adore him. I've broken nearly every bone in my body, am currently disabled, and I don't recall any of it happening on Friday except maybe twice, and never on Friday 13. It's another day. Cross your fingers, turn around twice, spit on the sidewalk and the curse will be lifted! Hee-hee!

Friday is the best day of the week as I have holidays for Saturday and Sunday but I really don't like 13th. *shudders*
The 13th year of my life has brought many troubles for me...

hmm...my friday the 13th was good... my exam went much better than i thought it would... and everythings been just normal... pleasant...
Here it's Friday the 17th which is meant to bring bad luck...
You know why? I find it fascinating...
Cos in latin numbers 17 is XVII which is the anagram of the word VIXI, which means I lived...past tense...therefore I died...
Well I don't know if it's the real reason but so I was told...

I have a black-and-white kitty, too. :D I think black cats are beautiful, but of course all cats are beautiful.
Friday the 13th illicits a chuckle of acknowledgement from me, but I don't have any superstitions. But were I to, I agree with Pensive's reasoning; 13 is a terrible age!

Friday the 13th isn't really unlucky - just a naff film.

To me it really was just another day! though I tend to the positive side of 13 being lucky.
However.. I still can't believe it but I went into a shop today and in some sort of psychic numb dorkish fog I left my wallet on a shelf!
I had driven about ten minutes away to another shop when I realised my idiotic mistake, and immediately raced back, heh, almost getting hit by a transport truck.
When I got there some saintly old lady was just in the process of handing my wallet over to management, everything intact. I bought her some chocolates :D
So now Friday the 13th is officially a postively eerily lucky day for me :p
Pensive, I'm sorry that 13 has brought you so many troubles :(

Another article on Friday the 13th. Be warned though... the picture of the words "Friday 13" is utterly horrid, not bad of an article nevertheless.

Well, it's 11:45 PM my time. Fifteen minutes for the evil to strike me on this Friday the 13th. I bet I've made it through another.
