Okay so its a little seasonally out of date. But I wrote it shortly after winter started, so there was still an autumn-ish feel. I guess. This poem is one of those that I have no idea if its one of those that every teenager spouts off at least once (like the last one), or if its okay. At any rate, it felt good to write. So whatever ... here is is

Autumn

Stareing at you has obsessed my brain:
The welcomming leaves and silent warm rain,
The caresses I feel inside your gaze
Leave me longing for more before the snow;
Before I am left in days you do not know.

Leaves fallen on flowers upon my road;
Where my feet daily hold my horrid load,
Where birds and squirrels teaze the sky.
The river is green and sun-spotted trees
Drop leaves from the sky in the softest breaze.

I hugged you at night with the whole of my heart
And thought nothing of what you take apart,
For my life has been stol'n by the fairies of frost
That you seem to have lead to my feet.
Beheld by beauty I'm lost in slipping summer heat.

God bless you my love. God keep you safe,
May He keep you from this horrid place,
May you be blest with the love lost in my sins.
I don't even know who I'm writing to
But the wings and fins beat all for you!

This walk knows my pains more, and you,
Bless me with the beauty of autumn dew.
I am lost. I am lost. I know where I am
I smell life in the earth and love in my hand.
An eddie, a dam, is all where I stand.

And you. And you I love so much.
I am carressed with the softest autumn touch.
I won't let you see me as I am now,
Perhaps we will meet when the winter is done,
After the snow we can be with the Sun.

OKay so the meter and rhyme need a little work ... uh, i guess i'll work on it. (I was going to have an excuse, but here is none)
