i turned 26 this year. my son is a year and half and my wife and i celebrated our 5th anniversary! man, time goes by fast. as far as my age, 26 doesn't really feel like anything particular to me. so far in my life age hasn't meant much, although i'm sure 29 and 30 will seem significant.

wow! this must have been quite a year for you. i think since 26 would be a very signifigant age for you since youve accomplished so much in that short time! Its very impressive. Just because an age ends with a 0 or 5 or something doesnt make it signifigant. but congrats on all your succeses!

well hello to you, too! i posted on the "introduce yourself" thread but i know this is a big forum. i'm sure when i get to 40 i'll think, "wow, when did i get to 40?" one cool thing will be that my wife and i will only be 42 when my son graduates. cool. :)

well, it works for us, although (obviously) it's not for everyone. i feel very blessed because it's what i knew i wanted, starting in my mid-teens. my wife and son are awesome, so i just ride on their coattails of awesome-ness...

I started young too ...too young, and my son is 33. Stay unmarried girls until you are a little older! I just noticed that I am in the 2.0-something percentile here on the survey...yikes! I am 56. One of the senior citizens here, I suppose....ugh! I don't feel that old and people tell me I don't act or look it. It is all relative and so is time. Why worry about age? But my favorite age actually was 35 - that was a great time for me. It is a good age to be for a woman, I think. One has learned much by then and your tastes are established and you are looking and feeling good and you know what is valuable in life by then.

i always thought having kids between 28-32 would be the best age, that way i could enjoy my 20s and travel and work.

yep, I mean, I'm 'only' 25 but for some reason I think 35 is a cool age. All the 35-40 women I know are just like you said. They are beautiful (not just pretty 'girls') and have found their place in life...

hehe, my age bracket is vastly outnumbered by the 20-24 and 15-19 year olds... it's good to see there are so many *young* people who read more and are smarter than me. I'm studying to be a teacher and at univ the Education profs go on about how the world's going to the dogs and young people are sooooo uneducated. So it's good to see that that's only one side of the coin :)

Im going to be 20 at the start of 2007 (bit irrelevant as this is a thread about 2006) but it seems that this year is coming to an end.

2007 is SOOO the new 2006.
