so i personaly think that this world is revalving around this book the people thrive off the media . who i might add isnt that intelligent , this book tells of the invasion of privacy and more , but if you think about it this way the goverrnment recently has been for seen by Orwell. the phone tappings and the cameras ,drug tests what else i really dont know what to say except protect every thing you belive in and never belive any one , this world isnt like it use to be no one is who they say they are ! :crash:

The media is just a tool of the Elite, or Big Brother. They really don't have to be "that intelligent". Most sheep are just apt to follow, you know?

I do agree with these points, but while I was reading through some of these posts, liek this one it just kind of bothered me. The way som people act liek the world is almost out to get them. Dont get me wrong im not disagreeing with anything, it jsut annoyes me I guess sometimes when someone says something about "whats this world coming to" or comments like that. Maybe we just over analize things sometimes or become a little paranoid about nothing. Even i do it sometimes and most of the time there is a good reason for one to have that opinion but also im sure there are some other times when people become angry upset or violated for jsut about nothing.

You are very optimistic, Africa, Canada, And Scottland are media driven, like any other country on this planet, and the Omish do not escape media...electrical based media, is only one type, literature, newspapers, and advertisements are all forms of media.
And I agree, people aren't who they claim they are...is your name really teacher? I would hazerd a guess (Unless your father is Frank Zappa) that your name is not teacher. once people admit to what is clouding our so called culture, only then will we be able to solve the underlying dillemas.
The so called government is really not in control, nor is the socalled big business-man. The truth is far more interesting: through the series of arbitrary laws and userptions of power throughout the history of mankind we have created a mythical dictator which seems to have control over all of our lives (I am not badmouthing religion if that is what you are wondering, I am not even remotly refeering to religion in any sense). This dictator is non-tangible, and will continue to exist untill more people begin to see the arbitrary nature of our everyday life.
