Hello all...
hallelujah!
Since i live in Israel which is a semi-desert country it means that until yestarday which although is the middle of december the weather was pretty warm here.
But as i was saying yestarday finally it started raining!!!
I love the rain so much.. i can just sit and stare at the grey sky.. and the falling rain for hours...
well any how what i was wondering is if anyone knows a good Winter poem.. or maybe a rain poem.. since i'm not so strong in poetry..
i be happy to recieve any suggestion..
Thanks...
Willow.... :)

sweet Willow Mushroom,
la la la I love rain more than anything.
If you go to google, then write poems+rain you will come to a charming enchanting site called Rain Poems Spring Poems, it is prettily illustrated. I think I will print some out and paste them inside your mushroom house. :nod: :D

Omer i miss you so.
la la la, here are some winter poems for you. google+winter+poems.
I shall write you one of them here:

my perfect snowman

I made myself a snowman
as perfect as could be
I thought I'd keep him as a pet
and let him sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas
and a pillow for its' head.
it ran away last night
but first it wet the bed

love you Omer.

Rain in Summer-Henry Wadsworth Longfellow,

Omer, it rained the other day and even though the weather has been cold, snowing, for one beautiful day warmth stole across the valley where I live, the sun smiled radiantly and smiled the whole day thru.

I think you would love the poem by Longfellow here is an excerpt:

The sick man from his chamber looks
at the twisted brooks;
he can feel the cool
breath of each little pool;
His fevered brain
grows calm again
and he breathes a blessing on the rain. :wave:
