I got admitted in the passport office
Angels on the earth bordered me
How long do I wait? I asked
Not much, answers the chief in long festoon.
Tell me your sins, asks ‘his’ agent
For what? weakly enquired I
To make sure your seat in heaven
Really! I told my neighbors sin too.
In the farewell function I lay still
In the new dress, I’m handsome than ever before
I heard somebody saying-He’s dead
I lost all the control on my body.
That air conveys me the real truth
‘Death always separates and
Separation, always painful’
Also, now onwards I’m totally alone.
I got one glimpse of that beautiful shore
Oh! How I can depict that divine vista
Is that the dancing roses of lovely Sharon?
Or is that the elegant streams of queen Lebanon?
At the very start of the journey, memories flashed
Entire life’s drama, played before the actor
My role was a success, I gained whatever I want
But man, success lies in giving whatever they want!
