Ocean of barren sand surrounded me
Burning sun stood high above
Where is a shore, where is a hope
None to support, none to give a drop of water.
Where goes the greeneries of mind?
Where goes the rivers of happiness?
Whether all that a midnight dream
Or are they, the extinct species from the earth.
How can this heart, born to love
Showers the same, in acute loneliness
How can this mind, born to rejoice
Fulfills in the midst of brutal negligence
I got that present two hands full
From the creator, for he loves me much
Sorrow, my inborn companion
From the cradle till the grave.
Great minds, kindly explain
How come, a person be a conqueror?
How come, a person be a winner?
Without a hope? Without an ambition?
