In the book 1984 I think the children in the country of Oceania is to spy on their parents. I dont think this is right. I think the goverment is using children because they are easy to munipulate. Children also dont know better and will do anything they are told to because they think it is the right thing to do. This situation reminds me somewhat of what happened in Orwell's book animal farm with the puppies. The Dictator will bring up the children in his or her's image and make them think the dictator is always right. I would like to hear your opinions on this matter please respond.

How better to break the bond between parent and child then by having the parents fear their kids. If you should only love the Party through BB then haveing family love is dangerous. It's the same with the removal of sex for pleasure to remove love between a man and a woman and all other forms of love. If you love something more then the state you might try move against the state in favor of your other love. That's why the thought police are so important they remove unwanted loves from the system. If you love something other then the state your pulled out and past through the system finishing in room 101 where all loves are finaly destroyed and they rebuild you in the correct image with proper loves.
