A few days ago I received an email informing me that a short story I had submitted would be published Dec. 1 by Eloquent Stories online magazine. The next day Eloquent Stories went offline and stayed that way for 2 days.
When it finally came back online today, the old edition was displayed. My story and the December edition seems to have vanished into thin air.
This sort of thing has happened to me several times. Either the magazine prints my story and then goes out of business immediately afterward or the story and website disappear into The Twilight Zone. I'm beginning to think my writing is a jinx to magazines.
