I came to see you today
to say how tired I am of all this
Spring comes and forces a rose on me
squashing it into my face like a c**k
Little clouds float about in a blue sky
giggling at this abuse
and you....you’re just oblivious

Love & Spring,
these are the peculiar joys of your life
you see how unsuited we are
I don't like them at all, nor
that sun you seem to adore
rising from its bed on the horizon

like some fat, gassy arse
or the flowers that fart at me
in your awful little garden
You don't seem to understand
How bullied I am by these things
And you see, Stupid, what I need
most of all is understanding

I liked this one the first time I read it and now I still like it. A lovely image of a man or woman (the "I" in it) emerges. These stanzas have a natural good rhythm. It would be very interesting if it were a letter secretly left for "you" after "my" visit.

Well, I hope we wouldn't find we were that unsuited. But I'm very glad you like it because almost everyone else who's seen it seems to hate it.
