I know that i had a project earlier in the year about Animal Farm. Yes, i have another one (boy that animal farm project seems like so long ago!). Well, if you look at the "PROJECT DUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" thread then you will find that i had a LOT of INCREADIBLE help on that project! I thank you peoples for all of that help, and i got a good grade on the BECAUSE OF YOU!!!!!!! Now, i got to choose my own midterm project. Let me mind you that most of you people will laugh at my choice of a project, but at the time i had a pretty good idea about what i wanted to do... i found that it was harder than i think. These projects will be due in January, but you probably know me... i will stall, and stall... Now, the subject: Adolph Hitler. the maintopic was to choose something about a person or a group of people who took a stand outside of the united states (i have two separate midterms, and i am doing both of the same midterms using the same project title). My Project is entitled: "Hitler takes a stand against the world; Hitler's views and reasons during World War 2" I know, how could i do something like that... well... i thought it would have been easier. But oh well, maybe i will get some help here. Also, Admin, if you could, for this prject, unsuspend my Private Messaging capabilities... not permanantly, but just until the midterms are over. Also, if they are not unsuspended, then i will have to be able to promote my e-mail address'. I hope that i can get help and i hope that the enthusiasm shown in the other project is carried over to this one...

This message will self destruct in 500 years... :flare:

I'm not quite sure what your problem is.. You seem to have a pretty clear idea of what you want to do, all you need to do is go about and do it. Starting today!

"Hitler takes a stand against the world": what was the world he was taking/wanted to take a stand against?

"Hitler's views and reasons during World War 2": what were his reasons and views that led him to take a stand against the world?

If you can answer these two questions with the help of your sources (and I'm pretty sure many have already written on this subject), you've got half the work done. I'm not sure how far you are..

If you're having trouble answering these questions because there's simply way too much information, try to narrow down your subject, or change your title if you can't find anything that really matches up.

Anyway, let me know how far you are, and I might be able to give more constructive help.

Brown lady! You mean Eva Braun, Hitler's long-time girlfriend whom he married the day they committed suicide in his bunker as the Russian army moved into Berlin.

As for Hitler's life, I think a very revealing fact was his increasing addiction to amphetamines during World War II. This made him even more paranoid than he had previously been. It also caused him to make certain irrational decisions that turned the tide of the war against Nazi Germany. By 1945 his hands shook uncontrollably at times, which is one symptom of long-term amphetamine addiction. His personal doctor gave him injections of speed in the morning to get him going and barbituate injections at night so he was able to sleep. Hitler also drank a lot of tea during the day -- another stimulant (caffeine). Someone should write a pharmacological biography of Hitler.

Yellow Fever, if YOU can't find any websites, then why do you think we can? Have you tried your school library? There should be enough for you to get started on.

Have you checked out the two books in your library? What do they say? Any clues?

If not, then try to change your topic according to those two books. Find something in them that you can work with. It's always best (in my case) to first do background reading and then come up with a topic and argument.
