Has anyone ever been here???
I was in Paris last April and I went in to Shakespeare &Co. It was paradise!!!
Books on every wall, stacked up 6 feet in every nook and cranny, and the building itself was so charming, really old creaky steps and little passageways.... The bookstore is quite old, it's been around for decades and decades. Now it's run by an old american who takes in travelling writers (as well as non-writing travellers) and they absolutely love him, despite the fact that he treats them like dogs (Once he hit a guy over the head with a cast iron frying pan for not mixing pancake batter properly).
Just curious if anyone else has been there....
