The poem makes wonderful use of language, but it also has some muddy moments. Long, but not nearly as long as Wordsworth's Lyrical Ballads or Shelley's Andiomeon. The poem begins simple enough; there's passion seething, somewhere (in the writer?), but I wasn't sure whether it went into a dream or vision. And the ending is an enigma. "Sweep out every seed..." Are these love letters between the two or just your poems? Here are some other questions for you: Does this poem stem from a real life interest? It ends, "In time" Is that to stress the continued joy from holding on to them as remnants of that vision?

Thank you, jon1jt, that you find merit and joy in it, though it seemed muddy at times. ;)

Thanks! I'm looking forward to Part II of your work...it peeked my interest, definitely! The language is beautiful. Keep writing!
