Well since we all come from different places, the only cathrgory worth using would be good or bad, since those As and Cs look like random letters to me...I can guess their meaning but they don't mean much to me...

think of it as on a scale of 1-5. A=1, F=5 (E is skipped) A is highest and F is lowest.

As I've already graduated, my last report card was all A's with one plus :D . (Koa, plus means very good) I was happy!

I had a Professor in the Humanities who insisted we critique our own papers, and on our 'works cited' page assign ourselves what we perceived the value of our paper was on a scale of %. Of course, she would mark them afterwards. Three 4500 word essays later, all in the span of 5.5 weeks, I decided to put 100% on a paper as my own assessment of my skill, effort and research. It got a laugh........and the same mark I had received on my previous papers, which exactly matched my own assessment....85%. The idea is that we each know how much effort we have assigned to each task, and it shows in our work. Or maybe she just didn't like to correct papers......proffesors are funny that way......

NO! Really???? I would have never guessed that! ;) :D

Well I supposed that A is the highest, but you never know... (in Germany 1 is the highest and 10 the lowest, whil here it's the opposite...though we use 1-10 only in high school). For 3 years we had letters too, A was the best and E the worst, but it was an experiment and then it was cancelled... at school we have words like, 'good', 'very good' and such... at high school 1-10 and at Uni 18-30...though in Uni graduation the best is 110, I dont know why we have that scale...

And I'd feel like showing off in talking about my marks (I mean, not that I have all best marks but it's some kind of idle talk...)... I'll only let you know if I graduate with the best grade :D

Sorry, it was a tough class, but I enjoyed it so much that I did better than I expected. In other words, I was very happy!

mostly b's. :( every time i think i can pull an a-, i always end up with a b+ instead. damn it. if there's anything i miss from high school, it's those easy a's i got in spite of the lack of hours i spent studying.

i just did IB, and i got 27points out of 45. 24 is a pass. its quite a confusing system.

i know its boring for me to explain it and write it all out, but hell, maybe someone is interested :P

you take 6 subjects and you can get 7 points for each one. 7 is the best, 1 is the worst, and 4 is a pass. so if you get six 4's, you have 24 points, which is a pass, but only just. if you get all 7's you get 42, and you can get 3 extra points for Extended Essay (4000 word essay about any topic in your course) and CAS (Creativity Action and Service, basically, making sure that you dont just excel in the classroom, but also in the community)

a friend of mine got 44/45 which is rediculously (sp?) high, and there arent many people in the world who get that, so she was pretty stoked.

anyways, im glad that you read the whole post, and if you didnt, then i hate you. :P joking....gollum is making a comeback in my posts!!!!

"IB"? Is that International Bachalaureate (sp)? My sister tried that for a semester, but couldn't handle it. She still graduated Cum Laud with her degree. She never seemed to study. *grumble, grumble...*
