From the depts of the dungeon, the Jester lifts his head
They pulled him from his dreams, right out of his bed
"How many know of my shame sweet Lord?"
"We all do of course", he replies as if bored.
As his Lord turns to leave, he shouts once more.
"Wait! my Lord don't lock that door!"
The exaulted leans over, to peer in the pit
"It's down deep you'll stay, so shut up and sit."
"How long in Exile? When will I see the day?"
"Idiotic Jester, it's down deep you'll stay"
In taunting fashion, he leans in some more.
"But, I will let you know
.............when you'll pass through this door."
"When your bodys a rag, and your dreams no more,
I'll put your bones in a bag, and drag you on the floor."
"You made us laugh, now your use is done
Your memory absurd, but once again you'll be fun."
"When I hold court more laughter will ring,
Now we'll laugh of your shame, and the pain it will bring."
"Oh..and one more thing I think you must know,"
