HELP PLZ...The Metamorphosis

I have to construct an essay...n' im having a lot of trouble picking the topic....so far i have 3 options and seem to want to go with the 3rd one the most...but don't have enough concepts to get three paragraphs out of it... :(
1) Significance of Doors/Pathways/Windows
2) various Transformations in the metamorphosis
3) significance of the senses in the metamorphosis

So far...for # 3 i have..
-the deterioration of Gregor's human senses as a bug physically manifest becasue of his feelings of more apparent alienation.
-he is more dependent on his own senses after the metamrphosis

* Any ideas towards picking a topic or help in general wud be greatly appreciated...

As far as sense go, the very beginning of the short story is like an awakening, Gregor goes through different stages, Kafka shows how perception works, slowly zooming in.

Maybe the violin scene could be interesting to analyse in terms of instinct/senses.
