Last Love

Thought I'll post up another poem for some feedback. Here goes.

I don't know why
All my efforts are in vain
Is this a curse on me
That all I ever received was pain
Through the countless hours
And the dreaded lonely nights
Am I destined to be alone
Or is there someone coming along?
Everytime I lay my heart on the line
It always ends up being broken
Should I close off my delicate heart
Or will someone cause it to remain true
My last love will it be
Is there one out there for me
Whichever way it goes
My heart will be waiting for the answer
