I am writing an essay surrounding V.S.Nipaul's comments that,
"Orwell's greatest achievement lies in his refusal to write in the form of the English Social Novel and in his ability to record and interpret the political and social change of his time."
It may be a bit of a long shot but I was hoping to track down anything else V.S.Nipaul wrote about 1984 and any other critics who agreed with this opinion. Any ideas?
Thanks
