Are you reffering to The Waste Land by Thomas Stearns Eliot?
It's surely a long poem :eek:.
There are some notes here (http://www.poemhunter.com/p/m/poem.asp?poem=43909) (below the poem). I'm not sure whether it can help you out, but you might give it a try. Also, maybe you can read the book suggested in the site (Jessie L. Weston's Grail legend:From Ritual to Romance)
