in the shadows of my broken heart
are the memories of brighter days.
ones when spent in each others arms
making jokes till the sun set,
i used to wonder how could it be any better.
you made it safe to be myself,
you showed me me love in its true form.
i couldn't bleed, nor cry.
untill i lost you...
you took the trust, and i never thought
theat you'd beleive word over heart.
you made the shadows disapear,
only tomake the demons reapear.
in the shadows of my broken heart
are the remains of clouded days
ones where all i though twas
did you ever love me.
with the hole you left
the shadows there you became
the phantom of my heart
