View Full Version : Salut, au revoir, ou adieu . . .
Greetings, my fellow generous forum members.
With difficulty and sadness, I feel I must temporarily bid you all goodbye. Hoping not to sound too melodramatic and self-pitying, perhaps stimulating all sorts of dreadful gossip, a series of very challenging and overwhelmingly stressful events has occurred simultaneously, and I feel that I cannot devote a great amount of effort to seemingly large or small tasks, continuing to aim my last remaining emphasis in nursing school and writing.
Though I admit it to very few people, let alone over a public forum, I have painstakingly and embarrassingly battled bipolar disorder for years (for which I receive treatment), but certain extreme bouts of inevitable and unforeseen events has brought about some type of exacerbation, which has afforded me significant stress.
Hopefully you will all understand, and with my intended return, I will receive no private messages until then, though some of you have my e-mail address, the utilization of which you will surely receive replies.
Take care and best wishes.

Having bipolar disorder is nothing to be ashamed. My step-father has it and I seem to know more and more people with it.
I'm awfully sorry to read that you've had things change suddenly in your life with an increase in stress and while I'm not gonna sit here and speculate as to why, I sincerely hope things improve for you soon!
take care of yourself and good luck with your final leg of nursing school.

Also.. you have many many friends here and have touched many lives at least in this realm, it was very thoughtful of you to let people know you won't be around much, saves them worrying unnecessarily.

Good Luck Mono. I hope you will manage to deal with your stressors with no lasting effects. I can relate entirely, my last episode started on my birthday, when the tsunami hit, and lead me to multiple injuries, loss of employment, and more. Please take care of yourself. I know very little about you, but that you are dear to many.

Mono, I'm really sorry to read of your unfortunate stresses, but I truely hope you are able to deal with whatever needs to be done, and things may improve for you soon.It can be especially challenging when there is a succession of negative episodes which can bring on a more distressing state, and effect one greatly, but I sincerely hope you are able to pick up and work your way through everything in the future.I send also you my best wishes, and realize that many care.Good luck with your nursing school and writing- there is no need to rush, it's completely understandable, with email replies.
Bye for now:)

Fare well, mono!
To quote a song, that noone but me in this forums knows:
"Though you will start reading your own narrow path, we will still, sometimes, like watching the moon, think no more, no less, than: "I wonder how he is doing out there?""
Return soon.

I wanted to write something that would matter. But whatever I wanted to say Donne said it better:
" These burning fits but meteors be,
Whose matter in thee is soon spent ;
Thy beauty, and all parts, which are thee,
Are unchangeable firmament."
Take care and come back when you are ready. Love, Isagel

Somehow when I look out the window the sun seems not as lustrous, the air less pure and invigorating.
My fingers wander aimlessly over the keyboard in search of the right words.
but there are none.
come back soon
