So are we all, so are we all Sailor. Ever since the Chosen One decided not to make themselves known to us all it has left a hole in the fabric of the forum. However, be at ease Sailor Mercury this should not effect your far away universe and all is not lost. I shall clarify.

Late nights combined with enlightened members with a superior sense of humor and way too much time on their hands has led to this premium thread meant to entertain and enlighten of course. Yes, I am guilty. I admit to the too much time on my hands part, not the enlightenment or humor for that matter but I had hoped the arrival of the Chosen One would be an event full of gaiety and enlightenment like none I had experienced before. Alas, it was not to be.

Unfortunately it seems the prophecy that the 8,000 member would enlighten us and bring in a new tomorrow proved to be false as member 8,000 turned out to be a – dare I say it? A . . . a . . . non poster! Not even could we reach he or she through pm or e-mail! It was, suffice it to say, a total let down! However, B-Mental’s calculations have proven that the fun may still continue that is if this 8,000th poster actually posts and in fact turns out to be this mysterious Selnick whatever his name is. And if nothing else it’s a fun way to welcome new members and let them join the fun. Only thing is none of them seemed to have noticed that some of us were waiting and watching for them.

I hope this truly clarifies the matter for you Miss Mercury although after thinking about all this I think it's highly unlikely as perhaps I too am now confused but at least I gave it a go and you can’t ask more than that now can you?!

Maybe this will help clear up any discrepancies. We have surpassed the 8,000 member mark, but only a fraction have posted (as Subterranean has remarked). Therefore once we have 8,000 members that have posted the person aforementioned will become the chosen one. Unfortunately, the odds of us ever knowing who this person is are slim to none, unless my calculation confirmed by my all knowing magic 8-ball is correct... does that make any sense?

Well here we are. Three weeks have passed since the day of hype. Yes it was 21 days ago that xn578 failed to post sending the entire forum into a tizzy. You think I'm making this up? I don't know if I have the strength to carry on.

I've delved deeper into the mystery of the chosen one, and I've got the following news..

8,717 members means roughly only another 12,163 more members until the approach of the one formerly known as chosen, but now only recognised as the one or the prophecy.

mystery and suspense has drained my lifeforce, I must retire to my fortress of solitude. I will be missing for a month. I make one more prediction before I go.... I suspect SubT or someone else will post "Knock it off kids" on this thread before I return.
