Hey there! I m the one they call the boozer
I dont have friends, my wife hates me,my son despises me
Wud u plz stop and hear the babbling loser
Don't mind if, at the halfway mark, I take a pee.

It all started when I was in my youth
Going to the woods,with friends and a bottle of spirit
My parents never cared to find out the truth
They were busy making the two ends meet.

Slowly all the pals started drifting away
They realized i was a sinking ship
I lost my job and have debts to pay
I m not that charming, so cant even strip.

When i try to talk, the liquor causes me to bog
Then my head starts to itch
SUddenly i turn into some kind of barking dog
If i was a female, then i wud act like a *****.

Whole of the world thinks I am drunk
Everyone, including the flies, is offended by my breath
All maintain a distance;as if i m a skunk
And they wait for me to embrace death.

But now i have gone too far to return
Booze is the only thing that gives me delight
there is nothing else left that make me yearn
"Drinking is injurious to health", YEAH RIGHT!!!

Been there, done that and it's just as bad as you say it is. All our stories are different; but the same. If you've come to writing it shows some sort of willingness. I'm not saying it will change you but maybe give you another perspective. 'Too far to return'? I don't think so. It grabs, holds on for what seems like ever but it will let go if you will it to.
