This is a poem that 'came' to me in the middle of the night a couple of weeks before my late Grandsons Birhtday. Kahlum died shortly after birth on the 30th November. He would have been 8yrs old this year.
This is a poem from my Grandson to his Mother.
HOW I’VE GROWN
From me to you
I love you true
From here to there
For you I care
You are my Mam
For me to keep
To cuddle up
When I‘m asleep
In your arms
From way up here
Into your eyes
I like to peer
I look down
As you look up
From the same glass
We always sup
I’m with you Mam
I’m seven you know
I know, I hope
You’ve seen me grow
My hairs not black
It’s curly though
Have you told my sisters?
Do they know?
I watch my sisters
Play and fight
Look after them
Throughout the night
I see you all
I watch, I care
With all my heart
If I were there!!!!!!
