Pain of life can be just to much
A life in which pain and love collide
There’s so much hate where justice can’t reign
There’s so many mistakes that cause so much pain
Nothing makes sense in a world full of lies
I’ve done everything I can do, but overdone my attempts
The cries of many have yet to be heard
The pleas of the bad are thought more of than the good
Dread-filling hearts are the cause of so many dead
Regrets remain unfixed and words remain unsaid

I have made my attempt
How hard have I tried…
I have many secrets… but this poem calls one particularly to me
The good of society I have so tried to lead
I wanted justice to reign
Live lives like we want
I’ve found I’m just like everyone I hate
I’ve found I am a lie
Inside I found the truth in me
From even me I did hide
I have yet to know my secrets
All yet to be revealed
My heart is full, my eyes are open
And yet……. My lips are sealed
