Heh, you wanna know what I think of Elvis? He was a worthless yokel. But I just bought a pair of blue suede Vans, and they're very nice. I could just sit here looking at them all day, admiring their beauty. There is a suppleness to their shape. There is a little 'v' couched in the side that stops you and makes you blush. And then, when you're lost in blue suede ecstacy, there's a hard rubber sole (soul? oh yes) to bring you all the way back.

Nothing'd make me abuse my blue suede shoes.

I wonder what kinds of shoes the people on this forum wear?
Mostly sandals, you can practically wear them during the winter here it's so hot. :x But every once in a while I like to wear these old fashioned dress boots I got to go with my colonial and pioneer costumes. They're surprisingly comfortable!

Shea, you'd like the Renaissance Festival we put on every Fall near Lansing.
I got married at the Largo Renaissance Festival! ;)

Just for the record, I wear sporty shoes... But I never find anything I like... For once that did, I wanted purple ones but they were too expensive and then when the sales season started I couldnt find my size so I got them in grey :( I love purple tho...
And in winter, I have some wonderful evil boots!!! They're very cool!
I hardly ever wear high heels cos last time I did, ages ago, I made a mental note not to ever buy any anymore... They're not for me. :-?
So...no renaissance-style for me...

I pride myself in being generally non-topical.

I should buy myself some quality shoes that I can wear everywhere. In the summer I am shoe-less. In the winter at home I wear these boots with fur on the inside (most comfy thing ever). Other than that, I'm a hobo. I dunno, shoes, just don't interest me. So uninspiring. I keep on trying to save up for new clothes but I spend it on books, albums, cigarettes and alcohol...and food. Gotta have food.
I like it now the forums are a mixture of topical and non-topical conversations, it's good. It's a lot more laid-back now, because people don't have to write long essays and engage in 'intellectual' conversation to post these days. If ya feel like saying it, post it.

I also wear ugg boots indoors in winter, and I have some outdoor boots with fur on the inside too which are great. Other than that, sandals or sports shoes depending on the weather. I also have to have teacher-shoes, so them too.

Indeed. I like going off topic, well I often can't help it... But many times (not here though...) I've seen complaints about it so I was trying to behave.
Isn't it worrying, when someone tries to behave? :( ;)

My mom said I had to quit smoking otherwise she would make me pay rent (and, Munro, I was just too broke). :(

I have a pair of motorcycle boots I had custom made and a pair of tall (dressage) horseriding boots.
Den rides a chopper?! Now that's what I call intimidation.

But then, there's this guy who rides his horse around Detroit, and it's freakin' ridiculous. I just giggle everytime I see him, he looks like General George H. Thomas (better known throughout history as the 'Rock of Chicamauga').
