help with diary entry (winton's point of view)

hey can anyone help me?
i have to do a diary entry (winston's point of view) but i don't really know in what situation to do it in...whether when he's in prison...when he first gets there..when he's in room 101..? any ideas? please!!! i must respect the author's style and language. and it must be around 500-600 words. any suggestions?? any help will be greatly appreciated. :yawnb:

;) :idea: :brow: :nod::redface: I have a very good idea, because I would love to do something like this myself! I love Winston's character. Its very easy. u choose a day from the normal everyday life in his life....savvy? because i dont think he would have written a diary in prison or dared to do..... Start with something that happened in minitrue, what syme said, if he saw O'Brien, if he saw Julia (if he already has a relationship with her...) and then maybe include what he thinks of it all - which u can find a bundle in the book. That he perhaps hates the Party and wonders how everything is soo strange. maybe he remembers something of the 'good old past'. There's loads to write. And if u really want to write about in prison try getting alot of emphasize how Winston is feeling, how scared he is, what's in 101, he asks himself, maybe he replays :bawling: :eek2: everything he did that might count for torture and pain. He thinks about Julia, about O'Brien (if he already knows that O'brien betrayed him include how shattered he is about this fact) and about how hungry and scared he is. U can do it, u just have to put urself in his position. Hope I was of any help to you.... W. :D
