Does anyone know the English lyric of a song "Polchasa Bez Tebya" from "t.A.T.u. & Rammstein Pruzhinki"? I am seeking it everywhere almost, but nothing have I found so far. This is a beautiful song, sentimental but comforting, the voice so touching, as if a real story from a far-away place, or someone painting his own broken-heart with fading colors, though I don't know russian. I desire to know the lyric. I will highly appreciate your help!!! :bawling: :flare:

30 Minut

Zaravet ubezhat
Ili dver na zamok
I molchat I lezhat
Izuchat potolok
I mechtat ne kad vse
Tselovat nebesa
Potolok karusel
Polchasa polchasa

Polchasa poezda pod otkos
Palchasa ne tvoya polosa
Palchasa, palchasa v ne vopros
Ne otvet polchasa, polchasa
Polchasa bez tebya, polchasa
Polchasa on I ya, polchasa
Kazhdyi sam, kazhdyi sam Polchasa
po svoim adresam Polchasa

Sorvalas I kak vse
Kak vo sne
Ya ni ya
Ne moya karusel
I mechta ne moya
Ili dym, ili grust
Ili dozhd, po glazam
Ya vernus, ya vernus
Polachasa, polchasa

Polchasa poezda pod otkos
Palchasa ne tvoya polosa
Palchasa, palchasa v ne vopros
Ne otvet polchasa, polchasa
Polchasa bez tebya, polchasa
Polchasa on I ya, polchasa
Kazhdyi sam, kazhdyi sam Polchasa
po svoim adresam

Polchasa-a ...

(Translated by Silva. ) 30 minutes

cry and run away
or lock the door
keep silence and lie
studying the ceiling...
dream not like everybody
kiss the heaven
ceiling is a carousel
half an hour, half an hour...

half an our and trains crashes
half an hour is not your lane
half an hour not a question
not an answer half an hour
half an hour without you half an hour
half an hour he and i half an hour
each of us each of us half an hour
goes to his own address half an hour

felt down and like everyone
like in a dream
I'm not i
it's not my carousel
and not my dream...
smoke or unhappiness
or rain on my eyes
i'll come back, i'll come back
half an hour half an hour ...

half an our and trains crashes
half an hour is not your lane
half an hour not a question
not an answer half an hour
half an hour without you half an hour
half an hour he and i half an hour
each of us each of us half an hour
goes to his own address

half an hour ...

Ahh, I guess it is! So "Polachasa" means "Half an hour", and this is what he is repeating...

It's the sad feeling that appeals to me most! Sad feeling can be quite gloomy, yet somehow I like it sometimes. :) Maybe it's kinda of human's nature.

Oh shame...I would have loved to translate it myself even if I dont exactly like Tatu...
LOL it was so funny to see the title of this thread and understand it...I am proud of my Russian LOL... Are they singing that with Rammstein (I heard they made a song together) or did I misunderstand?
Next time you have some Russian to translate I'd be glad to help, it is a great exercise for me and it's much more pleasant than doing grammar exercise or so :)

(and I wonder where my Tatu cd in Russian is...it might be crap but I like to listen to Russian ;))

Yes, with Rammstein...I just like this song, this particular one...The voice is haunting...It reminds me of something that I felt from the phantom of the opera, music of the night, wandering, fire burning everlastingly in purgatory, fumbling at the threshold of the paradise...
You may try the song here:

Why not today, Kaltrina? ;) One of my dreams is to learn Greek and Latin, ha, such big dreams...Now I have to do some Chinese-English translation work...as tedious as porters' baggages, back and forth, but you will never know what is inside...Oh, school starts soon...I hate school, but I will still go there, tragedy!

Hey y'all, I subscribed to this forum just to help the OP out with this song. It is actually a mix of a Rammstein's song Ohne Dich and TATU's 30 minutes. The only part from TATU is the delightfully haunting piano. I discovered it on youtube and found this site while looking searching for the piano tabs.

The translation from Earlier is from the TATU song.

Rammstein and TATU did not do a song together. There are quite a few mixes of the two bands on youtube and they usually kick ***, like the one we are talking about now. The song that is often mistaken for being done with TATU is called Stirb nicht vor mir (Don't Die Before I Do). Which may or may not be about what the French call "the little death". This song was originally all in German and performed with Christiane "Bobo" Herbold, who did the female vocals on the albums Sehnsucht and Mutter. The half english/german version is done with Sharleen Spiteri, a scottish singer who fronts the band Texas. Many people find she sounds like TATU's Lena Katina.

Ohne Dich translates to Without You.

Deutsche:

English:
I'm going to go into the fir trees
There where I last saw her
But the evening is throwing a cloth upon the land
and upon the ways behind the edge of the forest
And the forest it is so black and empty
Woe is me, oh woe
And the birds sing no more

Without you I cannot be
Without you
With you I am alone too
Without you
Without you I count the hours without you
With you the seconds stand still
They aren't worth it

On the branches in the ditches
it's now silent and without life
And breathing becomes oh so hard for me
Woe is me, oh woe
And the birds sing no more

Without you I cannot be
Without you
With you I am alone too
Without you
Without you I count the hours without you
With you the seconds stand still
They aren't worth it without you
