Hi, I'm not enthusiastic about poems and things like that, but that's because it's really difficult for me to understand exactly what a poem is trying to say. it wouldn't be all that bad if it wasn't that i have to paraphrase the poems cuz that just makes it worse. so i'm gonna be needin lotsa help from everyone here, poem experts or not. Plz and Thank-you!!

Hello, Summer, welcome to the Literature Network.
Yes, some poetry can seem very difficult to understand, especially poets from long past eras (such as if you ever read Geoffrey Chaucer or Edmund Spenser); placing yourself, as the reader, in the poet's perspective seems the second greatest challenge.
I would feel honored to help with any interpretations of poetry. I cannot claim to know everything about all poetry, but can, at least, attempt.
I look forward to seeing you on the forum. :)

Yes, in fact, I'm already having trouble understanding this poem 'Examiner'. I'm gonna be posting for help in the poem section i geuss, so maybe you'll be replying to my post, thanks ahead of time; and even if i don't get help from you this time, i'm sure there's a lot more chances for that since my eng. teachr just loves poetry!

Welcome to the forums, Summer.
Good forum name, by the way, we have to say. Reminds us a bit of Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire".
