Like most, I either watch the movies or cheat by listening to the audio presntation of the books. I would like to see at least The Lord of the Rings here. But I would like to see other books by JRR Tolkien also.

Copyrighted... but I bet after the movies, every library has a copy.

Assuming there are no more extensions of US copyright law, maybe by 2060 we could have it.

I would like to see Leaf by Niggle or Unfinished tales some day.There are so many stories by Tolkien that stab the heart or make you laugh. In my opionion one could spend weeks just discussing one little part of say The Hobbit, the visit to Beorn or a mere conversation between Gandalph and anyone. The works of that man are so rich.

To Admin or someone: Please make a Sticky with states that you cannot put some works online because they are copyrighted. It would save a lot of trouble if you did.
