I have to do a project on this book, and it needs to be done soon, but i cant figure out what the **** the theme was. Can anyone help me out?

It's mainly a political novel, and Orwell seems to be trying to portray the dangers of a government with absolute power and control of its subjects.

ok for a project it days to name the four mot significant & 2 minor ones...
three of the most significant are Winston,Julia & O'Brien i need one more for that and would Syme and Mr Pearson be 2 signifcant minor characters>

I'd call Big Brother a main character, even though he never actually appears in the novel. He's definately a main part of Winston's life. If by Pearson you mean Parsons, I believe both he and Syme are indeed significant minor characters.
