I've travelled far,
And my feet are soar,
I've been everywhere,
Yes I've seen it all.
And all i ask,
Is understanding,
From your solemn glances,
So reprimanding.
For all I seek,
Is solidarity,
A hope familiar,
A new sanctuary.
Will walk through deserts,
Melt hearts of fire,
Full of words and tales,
of those words' desire.
I've travelled far,
Now my feet are sore,
I've seen the people,
For now they are no more-
End war.

In commemoration for the refugees from Aceh (Indonesia) convicted by the government, killed by the millitary, segregated by the nation, left without help, slaughtered for their support in their own liberation movement, (GAM)... somethings can just really tick me off. anyway, and some of these guys have crossed the world, are now living in a country that they don't know, can't speak the language, and can't go to school, they will never return, or see their families again.
Nobody seeks to understand them. They are only told that they shouldn't have supported GAM in the first place. That they have brought it upon themselves. I doubt that these people have any insight in the regular torment that happens in a country like Indonesia. These people had no choice. And the people they once knew, that I knew, they are no more...
