Hello all there,

I was about to attach a zipped file of GWTW on here so that you who are interested in reading online can download and read it better. Well, the file is too large even zipped.

Well you so maybe can go to this link
GWTW (http://s23.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2Y8G0JRVUN1HU2C16Y4LN7MBOK) for pdf file. I use the font comic sans ms for the text, hope you like it.

Enjoy!

P.S: Please note that the link is only alive for 7 days, so be quick!

Ahh Rose I think that technically that is illegal for alot of the members on the forum because of copyright rules. I think it may also not be allowed on this site if it is an American site.
So although its a great sentiment I think you may need to ask someone who knows like Admin Scher or Logos

It was nice of you though:D

Downloading it now. Thanks!

Sometimes the law can be a bit..erm...weird...fine so I'm not interested enough to find out all the details of copyright law...but to me, author's dead, eighty years or whatever it is after death, the material should be free for everyone...though I understand significant publishers do buy copyright of old books...no harm done as I usually read online as a sample/reference before buying the book.

Loki

Ah, it's Project Gutenberg. Well that'll definitely be legal anyway. So yeah! :D

Rosevn

hi Nightshade, I think it's okay because (as Loki assures :-p) it's Project Gutenberg and it's almost the same your posting the link here for me, and then my converting it to pdf?--> well, where are these admins, Scher or Logos, please?

It was nice of you though :D Thanks :D :-)

and Loki, I couldn't agree more with you at this ;),

but to me, author's dead, eighty years or whatever it is after death, the material should be free for everyone...

If this came true...,hehe  ->

Yep, but the book's out of copyright in Australia (and I guess Vientman as well as Night pointed out). It might be a Project Gutenberg book, but it's a book from the Australian Project Gutenberg, therefore it's not 100% sure it's out of copyrigt in your (generaly speaking) country. Personaly I think the author being not around for more than 50 years is enough time for a work to go into the public domain. We don't make the laws though so if you really want to download the file and don't want illegal material on your computer, you better check out the copyright law for your country.

End of rant.

We are not so sure about the other books, but we think Gilgamesh should be out of copyright, right?

Sheesh! You'd think I'd learn by now to read the whole list to see if someone else posted the information first!! :cold: Ah, well, my heart was in the right place, anyhow! Surprising what you can get from Project Gutenberg! And also try blackmask.com, especially if you like the old pulp fiction stories...Dragon out! :smash:

Wow another blackmask.com fan, you know you are the first person I have ever met to actually know the site.Yeah! blackmask.com enabled me to get the Doc Savage stories I lacked to complete my collection, since the actual paperbacks were a little too pricey for my limited budget! Also they have the complete Shadow series (I had already got them elsewhere before the sites shut down!), H. Rider Haggard, Edgar Rice Burroughs, and more! Not a bad site if I do say so myself! And you can download in so many formats!
