Hello! Itīs been a while.
Scheherazade, I just read the message you left me; thanks for the information.
For October I would like to propose "Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince" by J.K. Rowling. The author outdone herself on this one - I'm still not sure if the sixth book it's better than the fifth HP, but it's still very good; surprising at the least.
I wonder how Harry Potter is going to turn out at the end...
I hope it'll be like in the movies: 'no matter how hard it gets on the long winding road at the end he's (the hero) got a smile on is face' ("Real Life"-Bon Jovi).

I have an online copy of the book Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince by J.K Rowling sent by my friend and well, so it's lovely to have chance to discuss it with you here

Welcome to the Book Club, Rosevn! Glad you will be joining us! :)

If Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince wins the poll, it will be interesting to read it. Just a reminder, please be careful with online copies; they might be illegal which can cause you and your friend trouble.

Thanks for your reminder, Scheherazade! Well, interlectual property right; copyright seem not a big problem here where I am living :-p . I will return that copy to my friend when I finish reading it then
Sorry for my kdg. Thanks again!

Hi, I'm a newbie, was curious if Don Quixote by Cervantes has been a book of the month yet since it's the 500 year anniversary for that book. If not that would be my nomination though I've yet to read the latest Harry Potter book, it's just sitting there beckoning . . .

Hi Quixotte,

Thank you for your suggestion. We have already got the 10 nominations we need for October but maybe you would like to nominate A Separate Peace by John Knowles for November?
