I, Simplicity
Am the God of Understanding.

A lump of coal has thoughts perhaps,
A memory, I know!
Did ever a lump of coal forget
To fall to earth when dropped,
Or burn when lit,
Or crystallize
When heated and compressed?

It falls to earth
Sooner than a fallen son returns to home,
And burns
Before a loved one feels desire's flame,
And crystallizes
Long before a race has died
Of its own heat and pressure.

Ignorance is the price of intricacy,
As it looses itself in knowledge.
Understanding is simplicity's end.
This lesson is not taught in any college.
