Ok the time has come to say goodbye again... but not for a long time.

Tomorrow, desperately early in the morning, I'll be heading to Moscow to attend a Russian language course with the hope to improve my skills in that confusing language before I graduate and it features on my CV... I'll be back in one month.
I might check the forum every now and then but I don't know if I'll have the time, there'll be so much to do there... and so many emails to keep in touch with my mum :D

I wonder if I'll actually learn anything since I will stay at an Institute for foreigners therefore we might end up speaking lots of English... or Italian cos of course there'll be plenty of us (we're really like the plague :D) and I know the other girls (I know some of them) will want to do things together etc... cos Italians alwyas move in group. I'll check the situation and if it does feel safe enough I'll start doing my things on my own - or hopefully finding some non-latin people to hang around with instead.
Whatever, chances are I'll have a good time...or so I hope.

I hope you have a wonderful time, Koa. Stay safe, and bring back lots of good stories for us. A friend of mine (graduating with a degree in Russian) traveled to Russia, specifically St. Petersburg, and had a wonderful time; I hope the same for you.
We will miss you! ;)

Oh cool... Yeah maybe I forgot to say that I'll graduate with a degree in Russian too (at Italian Uni we have to take 2 languages, mine are English and Russian), but due to the difficulty of the language joined by the poorness of the educational system, after 3 years I can only speak with great difficulty... Therefore I'll hope to find a way to improve my conversational abilities...somehow...

Thanks to you all, I really hope nothing will happen to spoil my trip! (the pre-travel paranoia is bigger every time... I'm getting old!)
Also I hope that I didn't forget anything, my baggage is worringly not too heavy and not too full, even if it includes a scary amount of clothes, enough for me to be ready for a very wide range of temperatures... Who knows how the weather can behave up there... Well I guess that whatever happens, it will never be as horribly hot as today here, so I'll be happy enough.

fewer clothes to pack/less baggage mean a less encumbered Koa and you will have more room in your luggage for all the adventures that will definitely want to journey with you! let us know how merrily they (your adventures) behaved, the foods they like, the languages they speak, and what an all around marvelous time you had with them!

btw, you and your trip will be just fine, Koa. give that paranoia a purple-clad, steel-toed kick in the keister!
