I loved a certain author called Philip Pullman when I was younger, I wonder if it's the same one you're talking about (ok i feel stupid but you never know...). I read 2 books of a trilogy, I adored them, always dreamed of the 3rd one but I never found it, I even wonder if it was published in Italy...Actually I think I saw it not a long time ago, not sure and sadly I'm not into that anymore...
I wonder if he's the same one cos that name you give to the trilogy doens't sound familiar to me...well I don't think 'my' trilogy had a name, and if it did, I guess it would have been different cos it was about a girl in the Victorian age... 'kids' literature, that was (it was in a collection (series?) of books I was mad about), I was around 12 when I was in love with that author (read other stuff by him as well), I found it great and I think I'll probably like it now too.

So...what exactly are we talking about? ;)

Yeah chicks dig wolverines.
Anyway seeming nobody seems to have read HDM does anyone like Edgar Allan Poe? I've read Tales Of Mystery and Terror but I'd like to read The Raven and Other Poems.
Pretty big topic change but oh well.

"Chicks" dig wolverines? Oh god.

Anyway, is His Dark Materials a young adult fiction series? I know its fantasy and it's really popular. I've heard it's quite good for its level.

Yeah so it wasn't the same one I was thinking of...

I usually have 'dark' tastes in many things (music, poetry, etc) but for some reason I can't stand E. A. Poe... The few things i read got on my nerves...
By the way wolverine, you could ask this about Poe in a new topic, I think you'd get more feedback :)

Poe's good. The Raven is a nice poem and I'd suggest you to read it, I enjoyed it. I also liked The Mask of the Red Death. Murders in Rue Morgue's also fine, so is The Golden Bug, if you like early detective stories. A lot of his poems are nice. If you have nothing to read I'd say Poe could be your companion for a few days :D .

Well i finished the third book of the trilogy yesterday.I thought all three books were great! It is supposed to be childrens literature but i liked it very much!I also like E.A. Poe ,but i have only read two or three of his short stories...I don't know if you have read J.R.R. Tolkien but if you like Pullman you should definetely give him a try! :)
