The night sings a melody
Your name is carried on the breeze
Moonlight faintly sees your form
Only darkness can truly feel
The fine softness of your skin
A silence rests within your heart
Like a stillness in the air
The summer eve of these warm days.

And you it is have moved me
In unnamed myriad ways
In silent rhythms flowing
In unbroken elegance
Music of a galaxy
A refrain that fractures me
Into shapes of subtle light
That kaleidoscope the night
Yet embrace totality
A universal mosaic
You are my chanson de nuit

this brings to mind black and white movies, old hollywood romances, everything shimmery, romantic, fleeting and mystical.

I am guessing "Song of Night"

or Vespers

or

Elgar sent Novello's a short piece for violin and piano which he called Evensong, although he suggested to Novello's that they might prefer the name Vespers. In the event, believing that French titles sold better, they published it as Chanson de Nuit.
