there's a million stars in the sky
and there has to be one glowing for me
its just locked in a shadow
where it can't be seen
and in all the blackness
it sruggles to shine
but it is there and it is mine
one star for all the tears
a reflection of hope to battle the fears
of this lost girl
drowning in her dark world
a whisper of sanity where choas reigns
a flicker of what can be
if her ocean finally drains
into the promise of drier shores
forgiveness for a girl
whose pages tore
there is one star
for me.
