Being bicultural, I checked both the US and UK charts:

Birthdate:

US - If You Wanna Be Happy -- Jimmy Soul
UK - From Me to You -- The Beatles

Life theme:

US - Betty Davis Eyes -- Kim Carnes
UK - Stand and Deliver -- Adam and the Ants

As usual, I think the UK has me pegged better.

Birthday:

UK: "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" - Marmalade (Jay will love this one! :D)
US: "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" - Marvin Gaye

Life theme:

UK: "Reet Petite" - Jackie Wilson
US: "Walk Like An Egyptian" - The Bangles

I like my US songs better. Not familiar with "Reet Petite" at all!

Cool! I guess I'll check both just for fun, even if I have nothing to do really with the US, while I'm British in soul and geographically obviously nearer to the UK... Wow I'm wondering what the fabolous 80s had in store for me :)

Birthdate:
UK The Lion Sleeps Tonight - Tight Fight :( (I keep hearing of this song but I'm not sure I know it!!!)
US I Love Rock ‘n Roll - Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
Uhm I was expecting better...with all the great new wave stuff that was out back then...

Bah, let's try the life theme, which I'll probably remember...and hate cos there was a lot of crap out at the time of my 18th birthday...

UK: Bag It Up - Geri Halliwell ( I dont even know this song though I know the er...'artist')
US: Say My Name - Destinys Child (wow is this song that old?)

Bah, I forgot I don't have to trust charts... fun anyway :)

Number one in the Uk when I was born

Uptown Girl - Billy Joel

Life Theme:

Queen Of My Heart - Westlife

Ugh, thats just cheerful isn't it. I guess that explains why I play cards. I am a part of the deck. King would have made a lot more sense though.

(I play just for fun! I don't want you people to think I am an addict or something. :p) Cause I am not, at least not a card addict... :D

I wonder what it was in Holland, I am Dutch afterall. Too lazy to look it up.

well i was referring to songs... and i'm deeply against marriage and having children, especially when young so it would never be in my choice (not meaning to judge other people's choices, mind you), though as i often said it feels very weird and not in the most pleasant way to never had a real relationship at this age, especially when seeing people that are even married  Don't worry, mentally I'm in my 80s and I have the social life of a grandmother, so I know how it feels to feel old, even if in a certainly different way.

anyway, i was just envious of your songs ;), checked your profile and realised that i'm 6 months older than you but my songs are not as good ;) ;) ;) Lol yes I can make a big deal of any useless fact :D

Julio Iglesias is Enrique's father as you might have guessed...I'm surprised he was famous in the UK!
In my opinion Enrique looks like a dog after he has been hit hard with a piece of wood :D
