I was thinking

is there a site anywhere that has a synopsis

of some of the famous and classic novels

Dickens Trollope Richardson etc

say a 3000 word synopsis of the novels

it would be handy to read and get an idea of

any particular novel say Tristram Shandy etc

Search on google and you will find a lot more than this. Just type the title and 'synopsis' and enter. This is a brief synopsis and the full text of Tristam Shandy.
