Enough, enough, enough, nought
The simple souls who sought
Nothing more than primal peace
To do no more than Nature taught.
I sought such a one, an only
Soul free no pleadings needings
Flying free of hubris songs
And sanguine searchings seething
Breathing fresh air taste of snow
Below beyond their wildest hopes
Mildest there the Primal Way
Purest there the Way of Earth
That grows glows sans all our effort
All manner of wonders to behold
If only we'd glance beyond the
Steel-strung, Sturm and Drung
borders now and then or look up from the spawning screens that hold us in their grip, tighter and tighter...; light falls softly, unto the night. Summer's triangle soothes the heart, longing for
an empty place, beyond all striving, driving, vying, trying,
belieing lies centuries old.
And we believe them still.
Nought is enough
The simple souls who sought
Nothing more than primal peace
To do no more than Nature taught.
I sought such a one, an only
Soul free no pleadings needings
Flying free of hubris songs
And sanguine searchings seething
Breathing fresh air taste of snow
