Help Identifying a poem

good evening one and all . mrs smith has spent the last half hour trying to identify a poem. it goes something like ,
"if you treat a child with love they will learn to love ....
criticise a child and they will learn to criticise........" and so on and so forth
aparantley its quite popular and you see laminated versions in christian houses all over the place. but whats it called and who wrote it ? any ideas or helpful

Enlighten us, then, how does the rest of the poem proceed?
It sounds like a very interesting piece, judging by the quote provided, and I have an interest in looking into more work by the poet . . . oops, I mean you.
