Coursework (Farewell to the arms)

Hi, I have to prepare myself for a coursework on "Farewell to the arms" by Hemingway. I'm reading the book during the summer holiday. I think the book itself and the way the book is written is quite easy to understand, but I still have no clue the main theme of this novel. Besides, my tutor didn't give me any questions for the coursework and this novel is not in the list of the A2 exam board which means I have to get it done by doing a coursework in time. Could anyone help me please~~~? :nod:

what sort of help do you require? The novel as such reveals a lot as you read. You can give your own intrepretation, provided you can substantiate your point.

I thought I might just post the link, if I find one, which I'm sure I will. Are you really in the Czech republic. Do you read Minlan Kundera in Czech? Just curious. I am very impressed with his novels, "Immortality", "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", "Laughter and Forgetting"...

Haven't read anything by Kundera as astonishing as it might seem. Haven't read him neither in Czech nor in English or French, not mentioning I don't speak French which is kind of besides the point.
