A dreary walk through the woods
Lead me to a secluded part of the world.
The silence is shattered by the moon
Rising saliently toward the heavens
Leaving in its wake
Grief and trepidation.
Murky waters I treaded through
The darkness pervaded in my wake
Spreading in a violent epidemic
As life drained from the shrubberies
And the ground tainted
Fell into obscurity.
The path is beaten, a wandering drift
Cast upon an endless canvas
Drenched in lies and treachery
Leading to everywhere
Leading to nowhere
Speeding towards its doom.
Conquered, I cowered in despair
And weeps under a barren sky.
